Aberdeen Internet Marketing (AIM) Meeting

June 1998

The Aberdeen City Council (in Scotland) has funded a programme of Internet development for local companies to promote the commercial use of the Internet.

Initially this funding has supported a range of consultancy, development and deployment of Internet, Intranet and Extranet services. This work has been done by Global Web Limited.

During 1998 there will be a number of AIM programme meeting to discuss progress to date and to establish the further developments of the programme.

At the start of March 1998, there were over 120 companies either directly or indirectly (via trade organisations) participating in the AIM programme.
