GWL Supports University Research Project

Global Web Limited (GWL) is pleased to be supporting on-going research at the Electronics Research Group at the University of Aberdeen into the performance implications of using HTTP over specific networks.
This project is being undertaken at the Electronics Research Group, with support provided by GWL. Some of the tools being used for this project include tcpdump and snoop - tools for monitoring network traffic on a specified interface. "tcptrace" and "xplot" will be used for trace analysis. The data collected will be analysed and will be used to build a web traffic model in a network simulator.
