Projects For Government Agencies
Global Web Limited (GWL) has been awarded some short-term projects for different government agencies. These projects include Scottish Learning Network (SLN), Scottish Science and Technology Network (SSTN), Metrics, AEGIS and AIM.
The Metrics project is a joint development between Scottish Enterprise Grampian and the Robert Gordon University. The aim of the project is to develop learning management tools which will encourage the improvement of Scottish learning, both on-line and using traditional methods. This is an opportunity for the learning providers to evaluate and benchmark performance.
The AEGIS project's main objective is to develop four learning packages which will allow partners to develop and test on-line delivery and to work towards meeting the learning needs of a typical workforce in Grampian and Lowestoft. The four packages include Health and Safety (H&S), Project Management, Management and Environmental Strategy pertinent to the Oil and Gas Industry.
The Aberdeen Internet Marketing (AIM) project was tendered by Aberdeen Chamber of Commerce, Aberdeen City Council and Grampian Enterprise. The aim of the project is to encourage the use of ICT and develop the use of the Internet as a marketing device for small and medium businesses in the Aberdeenshire area.
Please see our Portfolio section for details of these and other projects.
