It's Christmas time again and Global Web Limited has issued their festive e-card to our clients and friends. The theme this year is to dress the snowman from his vast wardrobe of hats and clothes.

Global Web Limited has co-authored two papers for the international e-learning conference with staff from Careers Scotland. These papers will be presented at the conference early in November 2003. Copies of these papers can be downloaded from the ECEL web site.

The on-going national Scottish Science and Technology Network (SSTN) created by Global Web has recently won recognition in the National Career Awards 2003 from the Institute of Career Guidance annual event. The New Heart-New Start Campaign raised more than GBP 30,000 to buy a heart monitor for the Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Global Web Limited donated an on-line auction, e-mail and web service and was acknowledged at the official handover of the equipment this week.

The e-Learning RESULTS conference was organized in Sestri Levante, North West Italian Riviera, during the week of the 12th May 2003. This event gathered nearly 400 delegates, 65 speakers as well as technologists and vendors from more than 14 countries and marketplaces engaged in bridging the gap between new e-learning technologies interoperability standards and R&D, e-Government and market initiatives.
