Global Science is a three year project aimed at building links between industry and education to encourage more young people to consider the career opportunities available to them in science, technology and engineering.

Raeburn Drilling and Geotechnical (Northern) Limited are pleased to launch their new web site. Raeburn Drilling forms the largest and most experienced technical services based and operating in the North East of Scotland, including the Highlands and Islands.

Global Web are proud to sponsor Scottish rally driver Stevie Brown in his upcoming 2009 season. Global Web have designed and are hosting a web site for 'Team Stevie Brown' that will provide information for fans and followers. The web site includes photos, videos, news items, Twitter updates and upcoming events information.

Sandra Lowson (GWL Business Manager) was invited to represent STEM Scotland at the Excellence for Everyone event in Edinburgh on the 8th October 2008 organised by Women Into Science and Engineering (WISE).

A new logo was created by Global Web for the Airthrey Park Medical Centre which can be found in the beautiful grounds of the University of Stirling campus, Scotland. The logo was used in the creation of various stationery items, as well as the design of their new web site, also created by Global Web.

Global Web Limited have produced a site for Stirling Sports Medicine Clinic. Stirling Sports Medicine Clinic is a new full speciality of the Royal College of Surgeons. Fully qualified medical doctors can train in various specialities such as surgery or obstetrics and sport medicine is a new equivalent speciality.

Global Web has been contracted to develop a distributed on-line learning portal for a major energy company which will deliver learning, training and support materials to a wide range of company employees and contractors.

Global Web together with Aberdeen based production company Midas Multimedia have the pleasure of working with Composite Energy to produce a marketing video. Composite Energy are a pioneering Scottish company that evaluate the potential of coalbed methane (natural gas) production from coal.

Thistle Sports (Aberdeen) Limited are please to re-launch their web site. Thistle Sports is one of Scotland's leading suppliers of sporting equipment and are based in Scotland.

Global Web are pleased to announce the development and implementation of the Norwegian version of the BusinessPort web site, which will be run and managed alongside the English site. This in turn will help to cement a stronger relationship with an already healthy market in Norway.

Remedios have launched the new design of their publicity web site which has been developed and hosted by Global Web Limited. Remedios can be found on the beautiful campus above Grandholm estate in Aberdeen, Scotland. Remedios are an environmental biotechnology company.

Caltec are pleased to re-launch their publicity web site. Caltec was formed as a management buy-out from previous employers in 2003. Whilst the company is still young, the core technical team has been working together on Caltec technology for over 10 years, throughout its development, with long experience in the oil and gas industry.

Balmoral are please to launch their new web-based on-line quotation system for their sales force and clients. The BEQS II system supersedes their established quotation system by streamlining the business process estimate management, quotation delivery and order placement.

The final cheque was presented for the 'Taste for Life' project in the Hague, Netherlands to Patricia Hollamby and the organization team. The total amount raised was 25,000 Euros. Global Web Limited was pleased to be a sponsor of this project, designing and hosting the Taste For Life web site, and designing the cover of the 'Cook Book'.

Global Web Limited's paper presented in New York in Summer 2007 has been selected for a special issue of Electronic Journal of e-Learning (EJEL). This paper describes "Seven Years of Linking Scottish Schools and Industry with SSTN" (Scottish Science and Technology Network).
